Fitting with the connection to our local environment we will be called Kuyim Primary School which translates as “kangaroo” in the Boon Wurrung language. This is pronounced “koo-yim”. Our logo has been designed to fit with our local environment, uniform and school design concept. It has been lovely to hear from local residents that kangaroos are regularly seen in the area near our school.
